answer / Blake/ Family Tree/ Question, Portsea, Porthmouth, England
Looking for answers to the Blake's Family Tree of Portsea, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.
Hello to you all, as you can tell I Have recently been interested in the Blake's family tree, I have searched high and low for information, and I have done quite well, not all of my family tree is in my previous blog's.
I have about 156 family members from different parts of the family, starting with Blake, Cumner, Davis, Devey, Dewfall, Gange, Griffith, Kendrick, Littlefield, Mathews, Pinder, Ross, Stevenson, Taylor, Write, Wheeler and Wills.
Well now I am stuck?, I am trying to find information on my great, great, great great Grandfather. John Blake.
So that's me ,Melvyn John Blake, b 1946.
my father ,Charles Hickox Blake , b 1900. (Two Wives?!)
his father, Charles Hockox Blake, b, 1877. (Two Wives?!)
his father, Charles Hickox Blake, b, 1852. (Two wives?!)
and his father, George Blake,b,1822
Then comes John Blake, no D.O.B. no place of birth, but I think it is in Portsea, Portsmouth, England.
John Blake's name is on the Marriage Certificate of George Blake and Caroline Hickox/ witness.
So come on, if you know anything? , tap those keys!, and put a 67 year old man out of his misery
Thank you all------ MELVYN BLAKE.
